Purposeful Products – at JetBlack we love to innovate and improve on cycling accessories until we love them. It’s not about being the cheapest at any cost, because that rarely pays off in cycling. Who wants plastic rubbish that doesn’t work for long and ends up in land fill? It’s about offering the best possible value and features. This is seen across all our products no matter if it’s a pump, pedal, grip or smart trainer.
Climate Aware – in an effort to reduce land fill, we continue to go to great lengths to reduce our packaging across every item we sell, using paper and recyclable materials wherever possible. The launch of our Victory smart trainer with Zwift Cog and Click, is a great example. We chose plain, non-coated cardboard packaging which optimises recycling, and instead of polystyrene and plastic bags, our trainer is protected by a custom moulded cardboard shell, and the tools and power cords are wrapped in brown paper.
Good company! Our freight and logistics partners, Cyclone Global, were the first Australian freight company to be Climate Action certified. This benefits all businesses who choose to stock JetBlack products, to meet their supply chain and environmental stewardship goals. We are also proud to sell other brands which meet the highest standards of environmental care such as Weldtite cleaners and lubes. No one wants to harm themselves working with toxic poisons when cleaning bikes, let alone what impacts animals and marine life via drains and water ways.
Customer Curious– ensuring a positive customer experience is not just a priority, we are absolutely obsessed with getting this right. We do this by listening and asking lots of questions and responding fast. Feedback is a gift that we use to improve continually. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service.
Community Care – CEO and JetBlack Founder Tony Simmonds and his wife Leigh, are very community conscious. They are active in contributing to making the world better and take their responsibilities seriously. That’s why they partner with ProPurpose to support causes they know will have impact. In 2023, JetBlack launched Orange Projects – changing the cycle of disadvantage, through which they donate a portion of profits. To date through the sale of our hydration range, at the date of supplying this information: November 2024, JetBlack has restored 49 broken water wells in Uganda, so that 36,750 Ugandans now have access to clean drinking water.
